Did you know CPY was Orlando's first Vinyasa/Ashtanga/Power Yoga studio? Now, we call our classes yoga because since 2001, so many classes have been led using those same titles, and none of those classes match the dedication, devotion, and love that CPY offers. Classes here are Yoga and Liquid Fire Yoga (our signature style). If you are looking for a studio that gets you and gets yoga and can help you manage pain, heal from injury, and get you on a path of good living, this is your studio.

Yoga classes are rhythmic, smooth and calmly energizing. Through our paced and guided movement connected with the breath, you will slowly feel your muscles warm, feel your body loosen up, and experience sweat dripping off your skin. Wring out and feel free from the excess stress we hold onto. It’s a blissful experience to relieve the tension from the physical and mental system of the body. Enjoy this easy going and powerful practice. If you have injuries or physical limitations, we highly suggest to schedule a yoga therapy session with one of us, so we can get you on the yoga mat, safely, and on the path to feeling better! Call us anytime, leave a message if you get our voicemail and we don’t answer it’s because we are teaching :) 407-999-7871

During my first year of college (1997), Calvin practiced yoga in our tiny apartment. So, while he was breathing and moving, I sat in my lounge chair, drinking coffee and writing in my journal. He continuously asked me to join him, and I always politely declined. Then, one day, I decided to join him. He looked surprised, and I glanced at him and said you said you are scoring better in class, and I want that, too.
The mental clarity yoga gave me that first night was something I craved daily. So, we began to practice daily. As we started practicing something I thought was just for my mind and better grades, it became a healing modality for my mind, body, and spirit. Yes, this joyful person who stands before you was depressed and sad when I found yoga. Yoga completely turned my life around physically and mentally. I want others to feel that same change in their lives, too. That's why I am here and why I continue to teach. The love of helping others find peace or joy or both moves me.

Once inspired by a book I received in the late 80s about yoga, I embarked on a meditation and movement journey that has led me to the here and now (studio owner and yoga teacher since 2001, and author of BURN Kitchen vegan cuisine, a book about vegan food, and yoga).
I realized that the standard path of gimmicks and enticing ideas of the yoga industry is not fitting or even slightly compares to what yoga has done for me. I have studied the human body, its movement anatomy, and how yoga affects the ability of the body to move.
I have developed an understanding of yoga as a supportive modality to help those with pain and injury learn how to live and move within their bodies more comfortably and confidently. I aim to inspire you to live with yoga.

Liquid Fire Yoga the practice is lighthearted and energizing. It balances the body with focus on dynamic postures, hip-openers and deep breath-work. This yoga breath and rhythmic movement is usually experienced with tunes from Lokah Luv that enlivening and inspirational for the practice.
When you come to CPY, the yoga room we practice in is temperate and regulated during class. In the studio your not blasted with 60 degrees of cold air, nor does it swing to the extreme of 85 to 100 degrees. But sweat, you definitely will! By design fresh air is always pumping into and through the room. Our studio is also a spacious and well-ventilated room with a large fan helping to move the air like a tropical breeze. Enjoy the comfort of a beautiful and clean studio and sweat without suffering. Join us for this wonderfully balanced yoga experience at CPY!
