[HEATED] This class combines B LIST, which has you moving to the beat, with A LIST, which uses Aerobic intervals to get the heart rate up. It's fun, sweaty and works the whole body in a low impact way. Our LIST classes draw from the principles of pilates, barre, yoga & dance. This class requires members to bring their own mat. Or mats are available to rent on-site for $4+tax.

Helena loves to focus on challenge and intention when it comes to movement, guaranteeing a good sweat that leaves your mind and body energized. When she's not at Move East, she can be found strolling around the neighbourhood, listening to one of her many carefully curated playlists, with an overpriced coffee in hand.

Joy Chiekwe

This class is all about finding JOY in functional movement. It includes all the hallmarks of a good workout: foundational movement patterns, conditioning and full body strength. A challenging yet accessible class for all fitness levels!

MAT PILATES

[WARM] This class takes place in a warm room, but is not actively heated. Classical style mat work that embodies the principles of Joseph Pilates. We’ll use breath to initiate slow, controlled and mindful movements that will allow you to execute each exercise with precision, intention, efficiency, and maximum challenge. Accessible for beginners and always a challenge for frequent Pilates practitioners.

BSY CHALLENGE CLASS // Counts as TWO classes towards your total. This is a donation-based class with all proceeds going towards JumpStart’s Girls in Sport Programming.


A festival of SWEAT. This 75min class is divided between The Field and The Cabin. Experience 30min of HIIT in The Field and 30min of Low Impact Strength Training (LIST), with time to transition in between. If you're up for a challenge, this is it — and only offered on special occasions! This class requires members to bring their own mat. Or mats are available to rent on-site for $4+tax.

Dali Salih

Movement and art are Dali’s magic! She loves staying active, whether training, practicing Pilates and yoga, or trying a new fitness class. Creativity fuels her, from painting and collecting vinyl records to cooking and exploring new cities. Traveling sparks her curiosity, family time grounds her, and reading opens worlds of ideas. As a city planner, she finds inspiration in how communities connect and evolve.

[HEATED] A crowd fav — in The Cabin. Working in Tabata sets (20s work, 10s rest) for 45 minutes, this quick & efficient full body sweat session uses a dynamic combo of low impact movements and light resistance equipment. This class requires members to bring their own mat. Or mats are available to rent on-site for $4+tax.

Rochelle DeCruyenaere

Rochelle’s classes are inspired from her dance background. You will push pace, strengthen your balance and stability, and groove to the beat. Outside of Move East, Rochelle loves to take care of her two dogs and sourdough starter.

This 60min high-intensity strength-focused class is designed to build power, endurance, and resilience. Using functional movements, controlled tempos, and strategic work-to-rest intervals, you'll see an elevated heart rate for maximum efficiency. With a focus on quality reps over speed, this session ensures proper form is utilized to improve overall strength, power output, and muscular endurance. In simple terms, it's a cross between our SWEAT EQUITY and POWERHOUSE classes.

After moving east from the prairies, Mike's focus at the studio is to lead engaging and motivating classes that build strength, mobility and confidence in movement. His goal is to create a supportive and lively atmosphere for individuals of all fitness levels.

Stephana Julia Moss

Professor by day, squat pulses by night. Stephana creates a welcoming and energetic environment inspired by her dance, run, and spin backgrounds. She aims to challenge your strength, improve your form, and boost your confidence through movement. Outside of the studio, Stephana enjoys spending time with her goldens, Charlotte & Bear!

This is our classic HIIT class, which uses a variety of equipment to help improve speed, agility and endurance in a fun, team-oriented environment. Bootcamp-esque. It's fast paced, sweaty and jam packed with good vibes.

Bevvy prioritizes three things inside and outside of the gym: health, relationships, and making life feel light. Since moving from Toronto, she can be found in the wild running, doing work at cafes, or making delicious food for her friends.

My goal is to create high-energy, welcoming classes that inspire participants of all fitness levels, drawing on my dance background to keep things engaging and fun. With playlists featuring EDM hits, mashups, and remixes, I bring dynamic energy to every session. Outside of Move East, I love long-distance running, and just completed the Boston Marathon in April 2025!

Let me relax and dance around to music. I like most types, nothing like a good bass beat though. My favourite ways to move are strength and conditioning training, I also caught that running bug recently.
