About Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga style focuses on the subtler, more passive aspects of the yoga practice by nourishing the deeper tissues and cultivate introspection through meditation.


What to expect:

We will begin our practice with a Natural "Silent" Meditation (15 mins)


After Meditation we will move mindfully through 5-7 poses. In this style of yoga, you will experience long-held, passive poses to apply gentle stress to the connective tissues, which in turn stimulates the meridians. By focusing on specific meridians during practice along with mindfulness exercises, you can target different aspects of physical, emotional, and energetic health.


Benefits of Yin Yoga:

Our holistic approach to Yin Yoga not only improves flexibility and joint mobility but also enhances the flow of qi, leading to a greater sense of balance, well-being, and inner peace.


Audience: Beginner to Intermediate

In this class we offer options, props and variations to address your body and it needs. This allows us to address imbalances, whether they manifest as physical discomfort, emotional distress, or a lack of energy.

Ayurveda is translated as "the science of life. Before medicine there was Ayurveda.  The sages of India developed Ayurveda, which continues to be one of the world’s most sophisticated and effective total health systems—highlighting the symbiotic nature of our physical health and our emotions, stresses, and the state of our relationships. 


Ayurveda teaches us that the most powerful tool we have for healing is our own body, mind, and spirit. Take action and be a part of your own healing process. In this mini-retreat you will be introduced to this complete healing system and receive personalized tools and practices that can be used to create health on a daily basis, using your innate healing abilities and power.

What to Expect:

  1. Discover Your Unique Mind-Body Type: In Ayurveda each person has what is called a dosha which is your unique mind-body type. It serves as a blueprint to your personality, habits, natural tendencies and insights into what it takes to bring you into harmony with the seasons.
  2. Ayurveda Lunch: Make a Buddha Bowl based on your dosha and preferred taste. Learn about the 6 taste of Ayurveda and the role they play is satisfying your appetite.
  3. Group Discussion & Personalized Plan: Receive an Ayurveda personalized TVD-Total Health Plan and let’s talk Ayurveda.
  4. Breath work and Movement: Breathe and move freely based on your dosha.

About our Guest - Caryn Lin

Caryn Lin is a classically trained violinist who became an innovative electric violinist. Her music is described simply as Magical & Mesmerizing, like Light Traveling Thru A Prism. It is the transcendent marriage between melody & atmosphere.


The Cherry Hill, NJ native studied with Philadelphia Orchestra’s Larry Grika, & went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Northwestern University. After graduation she studied for a brief period in Germany with violin virtuoso Suzanne Lautenbacher.


Years of concentrated experimentation with sound results in a live show that is spectacular. Caryn plays her 4, 5, & 6 string electric violins & uses sound effects made for electric guitar. By using the technique of looping, she is able to create on the spot recordings with limitless layers of sound. These live recordings are sometimes combined with pre-recorded tracks of her own music. If we must choose a category, it is NEW AGE.


Caryn has performed in a very wide variety of venues: The Kimmel Center, Lincoln Center, The Crayola Crayon Factory, Six Flags Great Adventure, A Monastery in the French Alps, Yoga Studios, Fashion Shows, Community Venues. & hundreds of thousands of kids in schools. Her music has been featured on MTV & on over 150 international radio stations including Sirius/XM satellite. Both she & her music appear in the movie Philadelphia.

The gentle sounds resonate with your body and mind, promoting deep relaxation, stress relief, and a sense of inner peace.

Nestled under a protective tent, you'll be sheltered from the elements while still enjoying the fresh air and natural surroundings. The serene environment, combined with the therapeutic sounds, creates a powerful space for meditation, healing, and transformation. Whether you're seeking to release tension, balance your energy, or simply enjoy a moment of calm, this sound bath offers a restorative experience for all levels.

We have blankets and yoga mats but please bring your own if you need extra protection from the ground, along with any other items to ensure your comfort as you lie down and allow the soothing sounds to guide you into a state of deep relaxation.

All are welcome, no prior experience is needed. Come as you are and leave feeling renewed.
